2017 Creative Writers Speakers Series - George Bowering

The Department of English and Writing Studies is pleased to welcome George Bowering, who visits Western University as part of this year's Creative Writers Series. George Bowering is a Governor General’s Award winning poet and novelist, and Canada’s first Parliamentary Poet Laureate. In partnership with Poetry London, the Department of English and Writing Studies welcomes all faculty, staff and students to the Creative Writers Speakers Series. Through a series of lectures by contemporary writers, participants will explore the art, craft, and process of creative writing in a variety of genres.
